'I Am Number 4' (4)

Imagine being the next in line to die. The three “people” before you have died, and now it’s your turn. I am Number Four is about a boy, whose identity changes from place to place because he is in hiding. He’s waiting for his legacies to develop so he can rise up and defeat the “people” he is hiding from. The best part about my book is the suspense. The book leaves you hanging and has twists and turn and things you didn’t expect throughout the whole book. You are constantly wanting to turn the page and not put the book down. There is also good detail used in the book.  I think that this is a good book for teenagers and older. If you like mystery and being surprised, you will love this book. The movie came out a while ago, but if you read the book, and like it, I suggest watching the movie too.

Divergent (3)

Beatrice Prior is 16 years old. She was born into the Abnegation faction. After changing to the Dauntless faction, she becomes more dangerous and willing to try new things and more thrill seeking things, even if she has the chance of dying. I would love to interview Tris because she is such a dynamic character. Some questions that i would want to ask her would be:

1) What makes you willing to die for fighting for something you believe in?
2) How do you keep going even when people are constantly doubting you and saying that you can't do it and will never make in?
3) Which character have you learned the most from in the book?
4) If you could change what faction you chose, would you?

In the book, Divergent, Tris is thought of as weak and unable to do certain things. Throughout the book though, she proves that she is able to do more than you expected. She is brave and selfless all at the same time. She even finds true love. The one conflict that she faces is finding out what being divergent means. it can be very dangerous and for some people lead to death and/or hardship. So my question for you is this:

If you lived in this book and found out that you were divergent, what would you do? Would you just go with the flow and say its something you have to live with and try to hide it? Or would you try to find out what exactly you can do being divergent?

'Stars' (2)

John Green. One of the greatest authors to ever set him pencil on a page or fingers on a keyboard. He always puts tons of detail in his work and spends time making sure everything is perfect. That is why he's won so many awards and has had so many accomplishments. He won the Printz Award for 'Looking for Alaska' and had the number one novel on the New York Times Best Seller list for 'The Fault in Our Stars'. John Green was born August 24th, 1977. He graduated from 'Kenyon College' with a double major in English and Religious studies. Besides being a writer, he also is a YouTuber. He teachers history lessons and posts them on there. He has a great sense on humor and right now is working on helping with a movie being based of his book, 'The Fault in Our Stars'. I have read the book and I'm so excited for it to come out. 



As you can see in this little moment behind the scenes, he is easy going and so passionate about him book. The only book of his that i have read is 'The Fault in Our Stars', but i plan to read a lot more by him because i liked it so much. I would definitely recommend reading all or any of his books. He is such a funny and great author and i can's wait to see what he will do in the future.
